The petroleum oil is the yellow or brown fluid trapped in the crystal forever.
In addition to the petroleum there is also solid carbon and gas bubbles trapped in some of the inclusions - creating 3 phase inclusions which are very rare and prized in specimen collections.
Smaller specimens may need 10X magnification or a loupe to see the inclusions perfectly.
The petroleum glows very strongly under UV light. A must have for any specimen collection.
